Letters to BHCC

Hello, I would like to thank whomever is responsible for your web site. I am new to coins and found your site a breath of fresh air. I also enjoyed your clubs skills test. I did do some reading on your club's opinion of (grading). I must admit as I was getting into coins all of the emphasis that was seemingly to be placed on who was doing the grading not what or why. As I said "I am new to coins", but not new to collecting. I have collected Baseball cards for almost 30 years, and I have found that the older the card the more looking needs to be done.

Sincerely
Mark

Pictured above is the Einstein Centennial Commemorative, one of a series of coins designed by the American Coin Club in 1979.  ACC will be producing many educational commemoratives in the years ahead, to celebrate important heroes often overlooked by our government and on U.S. coinage. Each coin is the size of a half dollar, minted in German silver, and are limited to only 5,000 strikes of each, yet will sell for only $5 each.  Release dates are January 31st of each year, and all are distributed by the Beverly Hills Coin Club.   To subscribe and received all four of the next issues from 2004 to 2007 send $20 to ACC/BHCC the address above.  Designs will be as follows:

2004  John Brown, white slave emancipator.

2005  Sigmund Freud, author of 25 important books and founder of the school of psychology which all future great psychologists learned from and built upon.

2006  Helen Keller, deaf and blind wrote several books and became an important inspirational speaker.

2007 Condorcet, French philosopher who was 200 years ahead of his time and influenced Thomas Jefferson and other important leaders in the areas of human progress.

"Collecting coins is the same as collecting art and history all at once."  - Buddy Ebsen, Actor and Dancer

"Money can be the root of greed and evil, but for the compassionate, it can become the root of great good.  The best way to help the poor, as we should, is not to become poor ourselves."  - Dr. Susan Wright, Scientist

"In the end, it's not only what we own that matters; it's also who we are and who we've been. Collectibles can often be a good means to an even better end."     - Chris Aable, Psychologist, Composer, Musician, Actor

"Coins move both commerce and emotions."  - Dr. Steve Morton, Research Scientist, Mountain Climber

We frequently get requests to buy coins. We are not dealers nor does our organization directly buy and sell coins. However, many of our members are dealers and investors. For a 10% commission, we can showcase your coins for a full 30 days to over a hundred of our top millionaire buyers, and seek the highest bid on your behalf. The more you get for your coins, the more we both make, and most of our low commission goes to our educational and outreach program, designed to create future coin collectors the world over. We cannot give values of coins without seeing them first. No experts can. Also, our volume of emails prevents us from answering the thousands of questions we receive about coins each month. Thus, if you are interested in selling, simply send the coins insured to the address at the bottom of this page.

We cannot give the value of any coin without seeing it in person, and we only accept coins by insured mail. If you want a certified written appraisal of a coin, mail coin(s) to www.accgs.org

Give us a rough idea of how much you would like for your coin or coins, and we will secure the best offers we can within 30 days, and send immediate payment should the offer(s) be acceptable to you. You are never under any obligation to sell, and we send the coins back at our cost should you decide not to.
